Cruelty causes violence and violence, crime; In several countries of the world, animal abuse is punishable by jail or costly fines, since each year more than 115 million animals are illegally subjected to experimentation with the supposed objective of benefiting human beings.
Animal abuse is anything that causes harm or suffering to the animal and, therefore, is reportable. Animal abuse is a serious social problem that we do not always give the importance or attention it deserves, despite the fact that hundreds of animals are victims of abandonment and humiliation annually.
One way to achieve our goals in this matter is to teach children self-care, empathy and responsibility from an early age. Self-care would include teaching them to take care of their own body so that they recognize that what hurts them, also hurts animals. The empathy to interpret what our pets want, what they like and what they don't, even though they cannot speak and, finally, teach them the responsibility of having a pet at home, since they must be given attention, company or attend to your needs.
